The first Dinolift product that Reachmaster will launch on the American market is the three model RXT range of semi self-propelled, Rough Terrain boom lifts with platform heights of between 61 and 80ft – giving work heights of 20.5 and 26.5 metres. It also sees some strong potential for the extensive Dino trailer lift range.

Karin Nars of Dinolift said: “We are very happy to be re-entering the North American market, and in ReachMaster we have the right partner to be successful. We are looking forward to working with Ebbe Christensen and his professional team.”

Reachmaster was originally established to sell Falck Schmidt spider and atrium lifts in 2001, and was bought out by founder and manager Ebbe H. Christensen in late 2012. It now also distributes, Denka, Bluelift, Galizia pick & carry cranes, R&B spider cranes, Winlet glass handlers and PB Lifttechnik scissor lifts.

Vertikal Comment

This looks like a very good move for both Reachmaster and Dinolift, Reachmaster is skilled at marketing, selling and supporting high end access equipment and penetrating niche markets. The Dinolift RXT products will join the Bil-jax/Haulotte SLT and Niftylift SD ranges of light weight self-propelled booms that use outriggers.

They are appreciated in the USA by golf courses and tree companies for their light weight and higher travel speeds etc. Having a third active participant in the market is likely to increase awareness and expand uptake, as well as offering an alternative replacement for the Scanlift/Kesla models that were sold in earlier years. One assumes that if the launch goes well Reachmaster will look to add Dino’s tracked spider lifts and other models.
