New sales director for Bronto

Its official Bronto Skylift has appointed Jukka Koiranen as sales and marketing director for all Bronto products – both fire and commercial truck mounteed lifts.

Koiranen joined Bronto in September from Valmet where he was director of the Mill Maintenance Technoloy unit, a position he held for more than five years. Prior to that he was with Metso for more than seven years in a number of senior sales and service roles across Europe.

Before that worked as sales and marketing manager at Neles Automation and as marketing manter at Sensodec. He began his career with Valmet as an automation engineer, and in his first 11 year stint with the company he progressed through a number of engineering roles to become chief engineer, a position he held for six years.

At the same time Jan Denks - who was previously responsible for sales and marketing - is taking up a new purchasing role as director of sourcing for Bronto. As a result he will resign from the IPAF Council later this month in order to focus entirely on his new position.

Other changes on the horizon, include the retirement of Esa Peltola later this year. Peltola has been managing director of the company since 1998, having joined the company in 1980.
