Alimak launches hoist in UK

Following its launch in Scandinavia, mastclimber and hoist manufacturer Alimak Hek has introduced its Alimak SC 65/32 construction hoist to the UK market.

The new passenger/material hoist is available in single or dual car configuration with payloads up to 2,400kg per car and car sizes of 1.5 x 3.2 metres. The hoist is available with either Direct-On-Line or Frequency Control drive via a helical gearbox system and uses high-strength materials to provide low energy consumption, improved running efficiency and less wear.

Safety features include an overload sensor, a mechanical and electrical interlocking door system and an over-speed device which brings the work platform to a controlled stop should it exceed a preset driving speed.

Alimak Hek's recently launched SC 65/32 construction hoist
