New Genie telehandler

Genie will launch a new 17 metre North American telehandler – the GTH-1256 – at the Rental Show later this month.

The new machine follows a more European low boom design than the typical US high boom designs and features a 56ft/17m lift height with 12,000lbs/5.4 tonnes maximum capacity. At the maximum forward reach of 42ft/12.8 metres it can lift 3.500lbs/1.6 tonnes. At full height it has an impressive 7,000lbs/3.5 tonnes capacity. Total weight will be around 16.6 tonnes.

The company will also launch the GTH-636, a more traditional 11 metre North American high boom telehandler with 6,000lbs/2.7 tonnes lift capacity and 36ft lift height.
