Bobcat telehandler for Jersey

Jersey based rental company 4 Hire has taken delivery of a four tonne/17.5 metre Bobcat T40180 telehandler.

The T40180 is the largest model in Bobcat’s fixed frame range and can lift up to 2.5 tonne to a maximum height of 17.5 metres. At its maximum outreach of 13.7 metres it can also handle 560kg. Gross vehicle weight is 10.8 tonnes.

Supplied with an aerial work platform attachment, the telehandler will replace the need for scaffolding when carrying out sea defence work on the island, which includes the upkeep of the rock armouring used in the sea walls that form part of Jersey’s coastal defences.
