Second Leo 23 for MBS

UK-based rental company MBS Access has taken delivery of its second 23 metre Teupen Leo23GT spider lift in six months. The Leo23GT offers up to 11.2 metres of outreach with its maximum platform capacity of 200kg. Weighing 2,990kg it has an overall length of 6.2 metres with platform attached. Features include adjustable non marking rubber tracks, a full 180 degrees of platform rotation and multiple outrigger settings.

MBS owner Martyn Bass, said: “This is our second Leo23GT and will help us with growing demand, especially for this model. The brand name Teupen and especially the Leo23GT is synonymous with users of 23 metre spiders and is very often referred to by name just like a JCB.”

MBS collected the Leo23GT from Teupen's factory in Gronau, Germany, earlier this month

Teupen UK sales manager Craig Rooke, added: “The model was given a facelift in 2014, with added improvements to an already highly regarded machine. Features like the corner-mounted, 180 degree rotatable basket and the hydraulically width and height adjustable track chassis set this product apart.”

Based in Witham, Essex, MBS Access supplies a range of scissor, boom and spider lifts to customers in South-East England. The company purchased its first Teupen in 2006 and recently ordered a 36 metre Leo36T, which is scheduled for delivery later this year.
