Verticaaldagen moves to Gorinchem
Verticaaldagen Benelux, the Dutch crane and access event, is moving to a new location in Gorinchem for 2015.
The event, scheduled for September 15th, 16th and 17th, will join two existing construction related events held at the ‘Evenementenhal’ in the town - midway between Rotterdam and Utrecht. The co-operation agreement will see Verticaaldagen based in the 12,000 square metre outside space, which will only be accessed from the main halls where the other shows - Bouw Compleet (total construction) and Interieurbouw (internal construction) will be held. In 2016 a fourth show will join the three from 2015- Beton Vakdagen (concrete days).

The Evenementenhal in Gorinchem
The combination of the events, is helped along by the fact that shows held at the Evenementenhal follow a similar ethos to that of Verticaaldagen – with inclusive catering etc… The organisers of Verticaaldagen are also hoping that some of the 10,000 construction visitors from the other two shows will head outside to see some access equipment, joining the up to 900 that Verticaaldagen usually attracts on its own.
Another change is that Verticaaldagen will now run over three days instead of two, in order to match the other co-events.
Evenementenhal will also gain from the merger, as until now neither show included any equipment, and the organisers are hoping that the impressive external display will prove a popular additional attraction. Hans Aarse and Hans van Gameren will continue to sell Verticaaldagen stands, but the show organisation and logistics will be managed by Evenementenhal, which has an extensive team to handle marketing, logistics, invoicing and invitations etc.
The first 28 exhibitors have already registered, with the organisers expecting to break previous record of 46 exhibitors - achieved in 2012 - as new companies join in for the first time.
