UPA adds first mast booms

UK based rental company United Powered Access (UPA) has taken delivery of a number of new aerial work platforms, including its first mast booms.

The company says that due to strong demand it has taken delivery of five 10 metre Manitou 100VJR mast booms. It has also taken delivery of five 32ft diesel/electric Skyjack SJ6832 RTE Rough Terrain scissor lifts as well as two 62ft Niftylift HR21 Hybrid self-propelled boom lifts.

UPA director Greg Miller said: “Niftylift and Skyjack will always remain the prominent brand within the UPA fleet, but due to very strong customer demands for mast booms we have decided to take the decision to purchase a number of Manitou machines to further enhance our holdings.”
