Another record year for System Lift

System Lift, the German association of independent rental companies, has reported record member revenues at its annual general meeting at the location of its latest partner, Ayhanlar Platform, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Revenues from the rental of work platforms and forklifts during 2014 rose by 12 percent to €147 million, while overall fleet sizes increased 8.2 percent to 9,850, with the number of truck and van mounts increasing 11.5 percent to 580 units.

The organisation also claims to have trained 12,000 people during the year through it ID card system, which is up nine percent from last year. The next System Lift meeting, scheduled for April, will focus on training for dispatchers and field staff.

System Lift’s 65 partners operate from more than 75 locations throughout Germany, Austria, Romania, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Turkey. Collectively it has a fleet of around 9,850 units, which include trailer and truck mounted lifts, scissors, booms, telehandlers and cranes.
