Hinowa spiders for Avon

UK access rental company Avon Access has taken delivery of a number of Hinowa Performance IIIS spider lifts, including its first battery-powered Hinowa Lightlift 20.10 IIIS spider lift.

The Lightlift 20.10 offers a maximum working height of 20 metres and an outreach of 9.7 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg. The overall stowed dimensions are just over five metres long by 1.3 metres wide, or 795mm with the basket removed. Purchased through APS, Hinowa’s UK distributor, the company claims the lithium-ion version offers up to five hours of continuous work before requiring to be recharged.

Avon Access managing director Lee Roberts, said: “We do an increasing amount of internal and external work for abbeys and churches. These customers really appreciate the benefits of silent, clean battery power provided by our Hinowa Lithium unit. However it has similar power and speed to the regular diesel machines in our fleet, so we operate it with complete confidence in getting the job done.”
