Track mounted Versalift

UK energy provider Electricity North West has taken delivery of a custom-made Versalift track mounted boom lift.

The aerial lift uses the superstructure of the company’s 13.8 metre articulated LAT-38-140-H, part of the LAT (Light Articulated Telescopic) series launched at Vertikal Days last year. Mounted on a Takeuchi TCR50 tracked undercarriage the aerial lift offers an outreach of 6.4 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 230kg. Features include extremely low ground bearing pressures, A-frame outriggers and full hydraulic controls.

Graham Davies of Electricity North West, said: “The machine is capable of accessing the most difficult of locations allowing us to quickly respond to any maintenance issues we have in the network.”
