Access Alliance meets

The Access Alliance, the association of independent regional rental companies in the UK, held its first meeting of 2015 last week at Niftylift’s new headquarters production facility in Milton Keynes.

Alliance members were given a tour of Niftylift's new plant and shown its range of aerial work platforms, including the 86ft HR28 4x4 Hybrid and other products.

Acting chairman, Rory Duggan of Horizon Platforms, said: “This first Access Alliance meeting of the year, held at a fantastic new facility, was very positive. It was great to hear that all members had made an encouraging start to 2015 and pleasing to see how the Alliance has grown over the last five years. We are still keen to attract new members throughout the UK and would be pleased to hear from rental companies with powered access fleets, which focus on customer service and offer equipment of the very highest standards.”

The Access Alliance was formed in 2010 to assist regional rental companies in offering customers a UK-wide service. The group currently has a combined fleet of more than 6,000 aerial work platforms, with members planning further investments this year.
