Airo adds AHS attachment

Following a successful Vertikal Days, Italian aerial lift manufacturer Airo has added Aerial Handling & Service’s deckRailXtra DRXmulti and DRXplus material attachments as an OEM option for its scissor and boom lifts.

The company said: “The demand in the UK for attachments is rapidly increasing and with our equipment having class leading platform capacities, our platforms are tailor made for attachments. With an Airo it is possible to use deckRailXtra in so many different configurations, most of which are simply not possible with any other brand. During the show, we had so much interest in the unique ability of coupling DRX/Airo lifts together we thought we should offer them both as one!”

Fitted with two DXRmulti attachments the X12EN offers four metres of material support coupled with a platform capacity of 300kg

Airo had previously approved the use of Aerial Handling & Service’s DRXmulti panel and pipe handling attachment on its scissor lifts, following extensive testing at its Luzzara facility in Italy – see: Airo approves handing attachment.
