Another overturn
A four axle All Terrain crane overturned yesterday while working on a construction site at a hospital in Cergy Pointoise, on the northwest side of Paris in France.
The crane was operating free on wheels and had the fly section of its main boom telescoped with the boom fully elevated and the superstructure slewed over the side. It appears to have been making an all-wheel co-ordinated turn when it lost stability and tipped over backwards.
Fortunately the crane operator was unhurt and no one else was involved in the incident.
