Ruthmann T175A for Blade

Blade Platforms USA has purchased a 54 metre Ruthmann T175A - designated the T540 elsewhere - mounted on a four axle - three regular axles plus a rear suspended/floating axle - Freightliner chassis.

Blade Platform's new Ruthmann T174A

The new machine, purchased through Ruthmann distributor Time/Versalift will primarily be used for maintenance work on wind turbines, carried out by Blade employees as well as being offered out for rent.
The unit boasts a maximum platform capacity of 600kg in the 3.7 square metre platform. This is the second unit of this type to join the Blade fleet, the company is also renting a unit from Time mounted on a three axle Freightliner chassis.
