First Liebherr for Central

UK based Central Crane Hire (Hull) has taken delivery of its first Liebherr crane, a 60 tonne three axle LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane

The new crane has a six section 48 metre main boom In the UK, the LTM 1060-3.1 can travel with all 12.8 tonnes of counterweight on board as well as the optional bi-fold extension, within STGO regulations. Compact dimensions and all wheel steer make the crane exceptionally manouvreable – ideal for tight locations.

The company has also taken two new two axle Tadano ATF 40G-2 All Terrain cranes and plans to add a second Liebherr LTM1060-3.1 later in the year as it expand its fleet, having recently moved into larger new premises in Hull. The company offers a range of services and equipment, including aerial lifts, loader cranes and forklifts.

Managing director Jon Hart said: “Our experience with Liebherr has been nothing but positive. From start to finish they have been incredible in terms of organisation and communication. Any issues that have arisen have been dealt with and resolved immediately. We have also recently used Liebherr training services for new driver and slinger/ signaller training and are pleased to say that we found them equally professional and a pleasure to deal with.”
