Manitou takes Man’go to OZ
Manitou is launching its new 33ft Man’go 12, 4x4 articulated boom lift in Australia.
The Man’go employs a single riser, two section telescopic boom, plus a 130 degree articulated jib, providing a working height of 12 metres with a maximum platform capacity of 230kg. Launched at Intermat last April, the articulated, lightweight boom lift is powered by a chassis mounted Kubota diesel – and in a departure for Manitou - hydraulic wheel drive motors.

The new lift has now been certified as compliant with Australian standards and with its boom length of under 11 metres, it does not require an elevating work platform operator’s license in Australia.
Designed specifically for the rental market, the Man’go features straight sided steel covers and simple technology and solid airboss type tyres, providing some cushioning, while being environmentally better than foam filled.
