Bibi for Rapid
UK access rental company Rapid Platforms has taken delivery of a new Almac Bibi 850-BL tracked scissor lift.
The 19ft Bibi 850 is capable self-levelling on side slopes of up to 20 degrees, and 16 degrees end to end. It offers a working height of 7.8 metres, with 250kg platform capacity and an 860mm traversing deck to reach over obstacles. The unit is Honda powered with a generator to provide independent power to the platform. Total weight is under two tonnes, while overall width ranges from 1,300 and 1,500mm.

The machine was purchased from UK distributor SkyKing and handed over by Malcolm Kitt to Richard Martin of Rapid, who said: “The Bibi 850-BL is an innovative tracked scissor lift capable of levelling on slopes of up to 20 degrees it offers a variety of access solutions not available with conventional scissor lifts.”
