Manitou appoints Western Pacific

Manitou has appointed Western Pacific Crane and Equipment to distribute its telehandlers from five of its locations in Bakersfield, Fontana/Los Angles and Tracy, California, Anchorage, Alaska and Kapolei, Hawaii.

Western Pacific operates from a total of nine locations, covering California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii, as well as western Canada, Guam and the Marshall Islands. It is an affiliate of the Lanco Group which also owns Walter Payton Power Equipment and Mi-jack the Illinois based Terex crane distributor and APE Crane Sales & Leasing. Western Pacific distributes Manitowoc , Grove and National Crane products.

Manitou vice president sales for the Americas Eric Burkhammer said: “With Western Pacific Crane and Equipment’s consistent growth in the marketplace we are proud to enter into a new partnership to provide expert sales, service and parts for Manitou equipment.”
