Two Ruthmann for AP Lift

Spanish truck mounted and spider lift rental company AP Lift has taken delivery of two new Ruthmann truck mounted lifts, a 63 metre T 630 and a 27 metre, 3.5 tonne TB 270+.

The machines were purchased through Ruthmann’s new distributor crane, access and finance supplier AMCO Machinery & Consulting. The T 630 has a total weight of under 32 tonnes and an overall length of 11.9 metres, allowing it to be driven throughout Europe without special permits .

AP Lift's new 63m Ruthmann T630 arrives in Spain

AP Lift owner Alberto Piñeiro collected the new TB270 from the Ruthmann plant in Gescher, Germany. Speaking of his two new models he said: “While all of our rental customers will benefit from the 27 metre lift on a 3.5 tonne chassis, However, our new T 630 will mostly be used for wind turbine repair and maintenance contracts carried out by our own employees. We have a separate department called ‘PiñeiroWind’ that focuses solely on the wind farm sector”.

“When working on wind turbines, operators require aerial work platforms that provide maximum stability and performance. The T 630 satisfies these specifications perfectly and can reach all sides of the wind turbine from one operating position. The greater reach provided by the long upper boom is extremely beneficial when working up high where every centimetre counts, as is the 600 kg basket capacity”.
