800th GSR van mount

Italian aerial lift manufacturer GSR has delivered is 800th van mounted platform - a new 17 metre GSR E170TJV mounted on a five tonne E6 Mercedes MB516 - to its German distributor Rothlehner.

The E170TJV offers over 7.5 metres of outreach and 220kg platform capacity, from its three section telescopic boom and articulated jib, while providing plenty of spare payload in the back of the larger van.

Rothlehner’s technical manager Manuel Miller said: “ In the 17 metre work-height range this model remains a winner. It is tailor-made to fit the short-wheelbase, short rear-overhang five tonne vans and it is simple to use, easy to drive, with low running costs”.

“With over a tonne of spare capacity the Mercedes Sprinter and the Iveco Daily vans provide excellent loading capacity and an unmatched manoeuvrability with an overall length of just seven metres and compact stabiliser set up.
