Niftylift's new trailer lift concept, the 40ft TM40

The new machine the 40ft TM40 in the USA and most likely the 140T in Europe? Has initially been developed for the North American market, as a result is it heavy duty, with chunky two section boom and end mounted platform with up to 10 metres of outreach.

The machine has also been designed to be simple and easy to operate, with hydraulic fold down outriggers, with boom stowed over the draw-bar.

The new machine is designed to be tough and rugged

The company has stressed that that this is a concept machine at this stage, in response to North American customers who prefer telescopics to articulated booms. It hopes to gain a good deal of input during the rental show that will a) confirm whether this machine moves forward to prototype and production stages, and b) to gather input to complete the development. So if you are attending the show do make sure you stop by and input your thoughts and opinions.

It is good to see a manufacturer showing a true concept machine at an exhibition, investing in this stage of the development process will , without question generate more tangible input than trying to discuss a paper with visitors and customers.

While the company has targeted this product at certain parts of the USA, it could also prove popular in parts of Europe such as Scandinavia.
