Sarens Scoop top crane award
Europe’s crane and heavy transport industry met last night for the annual ESTA awards dinner, held on a barge on the river Seine in central Paris. Over 300 people attended including Ron Defeo of Terex, Isolde Liebherr, Phillipe Cohet and John Wheeler of Manitowoc to name but a few.
President Christian Jaques Vernazza once again played host to the event which was oversubscribed by a hundred tickets. The atmosphere was extremely warm and friendly, as was the temperature in the room.
The annual award for the individual making a significant contribution to the crane and heavy transport industry was presented to Marcel Cochez of Cochez Levage. A founding member of ESTA and driving force behind establishing the association.
