More new products from ARA

Here are a few more of the new products being launched at the ARA Rental show this week in Atlanta.

Haulotte unveiled the prototype of an all new 65ft platform height articulated telescopic trailer lift with a working height of 22 metres and over 13 metres of outreach. The machine will weigh 2.7 tonnes. Overall length is just over seven metres.

JLG unveiled the prototype of a new slab electric scissor lift, the 1932R which will replace the 1932RS. It features hydraulic wheel drive front axle wheel motor drive, active pothole protection which uses a simple spring loaded rack and pinion drive. The new machine is all steel with heavy duty machinery trays, and simple access for service. The unit will run alongside the company’s ES premium range and be built in both Mexico and China.

The JLG 1932R is designed for easy service access

MEC unveiled an all new 13ft 1330SE micro scissor lift aimed that the market currently dominated by 12ft mast type lifts and the Custom Equipment HB1230. It has an overall length of 1.45 metres with ladder installed- 1.3 metres when removed. The extended platform length is 1.9 metres. Overall weight is 860kg. The unit on show is a CE model and features rear wheel direct electric drive, allowing it to run on just two 12 volt sealed batteries.

The company also launched a new 45ft slab electric scissor lift, with front axle direct electric drive. Overall width if 1.4 metres, while the machine is 2.85 metres long and weighs 3,260kg. Platform capacity is 227kg and unit can drive at full height with 16 metre working height.

Skid-Lift unveiled a skid mounted 20ft scissor lift with up to four degrees tilt on the skid, which mounts to any standard skid steer loader. The skid is carried by the loader and placed on the ground but attached to the loader which acts as a power source though its standard connections.

Skid-Lift unveiled the 2030E scissor lift that attaches to a standard Skid Steer loader

Innovatiove Equipment showed a fully self-contained 10ft platform height scissor lift that sits across the back of a utility cart- the UTX. With 5.3 metres working height the unit is idea for hedge and tree trimming work. It can be mounted in minutes with its own jacks and just two bolts.
