Moffett opens new plant
Moffett Engineering, the leading producer of truck mounted -‘piggy-back’ forklifts, has opened its new production facility at its Dundalk, county Louth site in Ireland.
The ceremony was attended by Dermot Ahern T.D., minister for Foreign Affairs and Martin Bellew, chairman of Dundalk town council. Also present were Pekka Vartiainen, president of the Hiab group and Keith Quigley, managing director of Moffett Engineering and around 150 Moffett dealers and salespeople.

The new wing includes a technically advanced paint shop, welding robots and three modern assembly lines. The factory also houses a large research and development department.
The investment also includes a state-of-the-art testing range for truck-mounted-forklifts.

Before unveiling the inaugural plaque, Ahern expressed his gratitude towards Moffett Engineering for being such a quality employer in county Louth.
