MEC appoints H.A.B

MEC Europe has appointed H.A.B. Service Centre GmbH as a dealer in Germany.

Germany has one of the largest populations of the original Mayville MECs and H.A.B has played an ongoing role in supplying parts and after sales service for the older machines.
The company has already sold its first new MEC units and has purchased further units for stock.

Germany has always been a strong market for MEC scissor lifts thanks to the work done by Georg Thierer and TKD in the late 80’s through the late 90’s. Companies such as Mateco and Baulift ran large MEC fleets and made them their small scissors of choice.

With its foundation in the parts and service business, H.A.B is likely to do a good job in what is Europe’s most fragmented rental market.
