Penny crane for GAP

UK rental company GAP Hire Solutions has taken delivery of a 3.3 tonne PH510 lightweight loader crane from Penny Hydraulics.

The crane weighs 465kg, has a four section fully hydraulic boom and can lift up to 1.3 tonnes at its maximum radius of 4.7 metres. The first unit has been mounted on a 16 tonne DAF truck for the company’s location in the Isle of Man.

GAP transport manager Willie Crawford said: “The latest investment we’ve made is actually the largest truck crane within Penny’s range. The PH510 is a really flexible piece of plant, perfect for all the different types of load handling operations we encounter.”
