Crane collapse destroys cars
A Liebherr MK100 belonging to BTB Logistics, previously Brandt, of Berlin inexplicably came down at around midnight last Friday while it had 50 metres of jib out.

At least the road wasn't blocked
The mast which was retracted came down over the rear of the crane, while the jib hit the chassis cab and a number of cars in front of the crane.
The MK was working on the prestigious Dom Aquaree Centre in the city centre, and was set up in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße where it was set up with cars parked behind and in front.

The centre includes the SAS Raddisson hotel along with shops restaurants and the Sea Life centre.
Among the cars hit by the crane was the Bahrainian ammbassadors limousine.
