Crane overturns at Swatch
A two axle All Terrain crane overturned yesterday at the new Swatch headquarters being built in Biel, Switzerland, Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident and even the damage was light.

The crane overturned and just touched the covered wood frame building structure
Local reports suggest that the ground gave way under the outriggers on one side, however the photos that we have been sent are inconclusive. What is clear is the the outriggers on one side are either fully retracted, or have dropped into an underground void.
The crane was working with its four section main boom fully extended and a swingaway extension in place. That is about all we have at this point.
