Potains for Mantis

The UK division of Mantis Cranes has taken delivery of two four tonne Potain Hup 40-30 self erecting tower cranes.

The Hup 40-30 has a 40 metre jib tip, and features a three section telescopic mast, giving a range of hook heights from 25.6 to 30 metres, with a one tonne capacity at the end of the jib.

National sales manager Andy Stewart said: “With the addition of the Potain Hup 40-30 to our tower crane hire fleet, our clients can avail of the greater flexibility and adaptability that this model has to offer. The new designs and technology available with the Potain Hup 40-30 allows it work and cover a greater variety of jobs.”

Mantis UK is an affiliate of Irish crane manufacturer and rental company Mantis Cranes, and operates from two locations, in Northamptonshire and Durham. The company runs a fleet of tower cranes with jib lengths ranging from 12.7 to 55 metres and capacities up to six tonnes.
