Manitex expands US PM sales team

US based crane and aerial lift manufacturer Manitex has appointed Sam Welch and Chris Ruiz as North American regional business managers for its PM/articulated loader crane division.

Welch will cover the western region of the USA, he joins Manitex from Peak Crane & Equipment, where he has been a territory sales manager for a year. He began his career in 2011 as co-founder of small brokerage company K&S Crane & Equipment, joining Bigge Crane & Rigging as a sales representative in 2013, a position he held for almost three years. In 2016 he moved to Monterey Mechanical Co as a project engineer, joining Peak Crane the following year.

Ruiz was most recently a regional sales manager for Hiab, where he was responsible for the gulf coast region. In his new role he will cover the south central region of the USA for PM/Manitex articulated loader cranes,
