First 90m Ruthmann delivered

Austrian crane, access and heavy transport company Felbermayr has taken delivery of the first 90 metre Ruthmann T 900 HF truck mounted platform.

The T 900 HF, which made an appearance at Vertikal Days in May, provides an outreach of 42 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 350kg, while 39 metres is possible with the maximum platform capacity of 600kg. The T 900 HFs first job was at the Cathedral of Wiener Neustadt, just south of Vienna.

Chief executive Horst Felbermayr said: "A key decision criterion for us was the lateral reach of 42 metres, the dynamic range system and a weight of less than 48 tonnes. This increases flexibility, which means that we expect high utilisation."

The T 900 HFs first job was at a cathedral in Wiener Neustadt


Established in 1942, Felbermayr employs 2,700 across 68 sites in 18 European countries. The company runs a large crane and aerial work platform rental fleet, and offers heavy lift and transportation services.
