Speedy Lifting was also the first company to use the LEEA’s new training facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. When 27 Speedy employees completed a two-day test and inspection course at the centre

At the same time the business has also successfully gained Investors in People accreditation, underlining Speedy’s commitment to staff training and development.

Claudio Veritiero, Speedy Lifting managing director, said: “We have become closely aligned to the LEEA through a shared focus on delivering quality and a desire to raise safety standards throughout the lifting industry. In such a safety critical area as lifting operations, being recognised as having safe systems of work is of paramount importance and something potential hirers of equipment should look for in their suppliers.”
