Groves for Schuch
German crane rental company Schuch has taken delivery of three Grove cranes, a 60 tonne GMK3060, a 100 tonne GMK4100L-1 and a 300 tonne GMK6300L-1 All Terrain crane.
The three axle GMK3060 has a 43 metre six section main boom and a 8.7 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. The four axle GMK4100L-1 features a 60 metre main boom with Twin-Lock pinning and an 11.1 to 17.6 metre telescopic swingaway extension. The six axle GMK6300L-1 has an 80 metre main boom and up to 37 metres of extension, giving a maximum tip height of 120 metres. The three cranes will operate from the company’s depots in Karlsruhe, Kaiserslautern and Frankfurt, having been ordered through German Manitowoc/Grove distributor Kranagentur Werner.

The new cranes are delivered
Managing director Tim Schuch said: “Our goal is to offer our customers state of the art cranes with the latest technology and the highest safety standards. These include the new CCS control system and the Maxbase variable support system. Furthermore, we are very satisfied with the quality of the Grove mobile cranes.”

Workshop manager Otto Zimmer added: “The new GMK 6300L-1 fits in perfectly with our tried and tested technology and very good payloads.”
The divisions of The Schuch Group include crane rental, heavy transport and machinery moving. The company runs a fleet of over 200 All Terrain, crawler and loader cranes.
