New head for Oktopus cranes
Bromsgrove based lifting specialist Oktopus UK has appointed Andrew Hinton-Sheley, 38, as head of its cranes division.
Hinton-Sheley joined the company this week as part of its plan to become a provider of lifting solutions in addition to being a general supplier of lifting equipment.

Hinton-Sheley is married with two children, lives in the West Midlands, and has 10 years’ experience in the rental business while carrying an appointed person card for cranes.
His new role will include site surveys and the drawing up lifting plans for customers.
Oktopus is the sole UK distributor for the Oktopus range of vacuum lifting devices for roofing cladding, glazing and curtain walling panels for both crane and telehandler mounting.
The company is also a regional member of the Maeda fast response mini crane rental network.
Stuart Young works manager at Oktopus UK, said: “Andrew’s appointment will allow us to better serve our customers, both in the supply of equipment or, alternatively, in offering a lifting service where required. We are delighted to welcome him to the company.”
