Versalift UK adds to engineering team
Versalift UK has appointed Tom Johnson as engineering manager, plus Dani Filote and John Cox as senior engineers.
Johnson will report to general manager Andy Bray, and will be responsible for the newly formed engineering team, overseeing all elements of design for production and service for vehicle systems. Johnson joins the company from automation and electrical installation provider Wago, where he has been engineering manager since 2016. Prior to that he was technical systems manager for logistics company Chep.

Filote and Cox will both report to Johnson and will be based at Versalift UK headquarters in Burton Latimer, Kettering. Filote joins Versalift from Cumberland Platforms, where he has been design engineer since 2017. Prior to that he held the same position at engineering services company Tata Technologies. Working alongside current engineers, he will focus on special build design and supporting the development of the van build side of the business.
Cox will be responsible for designing and managing the special build projects, while also working with the younger engineers to develop their knowledge and best practice.
