Bennetts takes Raimondi stand cranes

UK tower crane rental company Bennetts Cranes, has purchased two of the three cranes on the Raimondi stand at Bauma.

Edward Seager of Bennetts placed the order for the LR273 and LRH174 yesterday with Mauro Masetti and Cristian Badin of Raimondi. Bennetts already has several LRH174s in its fleet, while Raimondi’s new 18 tonne LR273 luffing jib crane as unveiled at the show this week and is said to be easier to install, has a large hoist drum capacity and 60 metre jib.

Edward Seager said: “Both of these cranes will make excellent additions to our fleet, which we are continually modernising and expanding. Luffers are the greater part of our crane fleet, and hydraulic luffers are increasingly useful in the UK, where we have to contend with limited land space and air rights regulations, controlling the over-sailing of properties.”
