40 hybrid Genies for Zeppelin

German rental company Zeppelin Rental has taken delivery of 40 60ft Genie Z-60 FE hybrid articulated boom lifts.

Dubbed the ZGT20.11HY by Zeppelin Rental, the Z-60 FE provide an outreach of 11.15 metres at an up and over clearance of 7.4 metres, topped by a jib with 135 degrees of articulation. Maximum platform capacity is 230kg.

A Genie Z-60 FE on Zeppelin’s stand at Bauma

Zeppelin’s head of purchasing Dirk Feyerabend said: “With the addition of these 40 Genie hybrid booms to our fleet, our customers have a powerful indoor and outdoor solution that complies with today’s stricter environmental regulations, at the same time as benefitting from lower operating costs. This model’s exceptional versatility also makes it an ideal ‘start to finish’ solution suitable for use on outdoor construction sites on rough terrain as well as work in busy city centres, sports stadiums or shopping malls, where low noise and emissions free operation are key requirements.”

Based in Garching near Munich, Zeppelin Rental is a Cat Rental store offering aerial lifts, spider cranes, telehandlers, scaffolding and forklifts across 135 locations in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, with around 1,500 employees.
