Australian sales and rental company Cosmo Cranes has taken delivery of two Demag All Terrain cranes, a 300 tonne AC 300-6 and 130 tonne AC 130-5.
The six axle AC 300-6 has an 80 metre main boom plus a 21 metre bi-fold extension, with up to 40 degrees of offset, and can handle up to 15 tonnes on its fully extended main boom. The five axle AC 130-5 has a 60 metre main boom, while extensions take the maximum tip height to 86.5 metres. Both cranes are equipped with Demag’s IC-1 Plus control system with variable outrigger setup and automatic load chart calculation.
Owner Josh Handley said: “Over the last 16 years, we have built a reputation on being experts in our field by performing quality work safely. The machinery we use, as well as the distributors and manufacturers we choose to partner with help us get to where we are today. We have always trusted the Demag team to deliver quality equipment and outstanding service support. The technology built into these two new cranes will help us continue to meet the needs of our clients.”
Established in 2003, Cosmo Cranes is based in Sydney, and offers crane services across the country. Its fleet includes both tower cranes and All Terrain cranes.
