Platform Company steps up refurb capacity
The Platform Company has expanded its national refurbishment centre and increased staffing levels; it has also opened a new paint spray shop in Bristol.
The refurbishment centre, in Birmingham, opened its doors at the beginning of 2005 to service and refurbish machines from The Platform Company’s fleet of lifts and telehandlers.
An additional 930 square metre site adjacent to the current 1,600 sq metre facility is expected to double throughput. Six more engineers have been employed to cope with the extra work.
