New facility for Manitou Spain

Manitou España opened a brand new headquarters facility in Alcalá de Henares, on the east side of Madrid yesterday. The subsidiary was previously located in San Agustín de Guadalix - due north of the city.

The new facility is located along the A2 /E 90 highway to the nearby airport and the city centre. It includes 4,600 square metres of covered space on a 2.5 acre/10,000 square metre plot, it also serves as the ‘Manitou Center’ dealership for Madrid and Toledo. The company says that the additional space provided by the new building will allow it to exhibit and demonstrate its full range of equipment, while helping it handle a greater number of customers, more efficiently.

Manitou España’s new facility in Madrid

The facility includes workshops, a warehouse with loading dock, offices and a 250 square metre training centre, including a training theatre with the ability to had three separate courses simultaneously. It will be home to 30 employees.

Manitou Spain managing director Joao Hebil said: "These new premises will allow us to optimise the quality of our service thanks to adapted spaces. We will offer a wider range of products to our customers, while being closer to our network of dealers".
