Willi Liebherr honoured

Willi Liebherr president of Liebherr International, the holding company of the Liebherr group, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Freiburg in Switzerland.

In his laudatory speech, the dean of the faculty of Economics and Social Sciences said:

“Thanks to his outstanding entrepreneurial skills, Willi Liebherr has helped the Liebherr Group to greater innovative force, sustained growth and success".

"He has always acted in respect of ethical principles and assumed a high degree of personal and social responsibility. Last but not least, this award should honour the commitment displayed by Willi Liebherr to promoting university research and teaching”.
