Tadanos for Markewitsch

German transport and lifting company Markewitsch Group has taken delivery of two 100 tonne Tadano ATF 100G-4 All Terrain cranes.

The four axle ATF 100G-4 has a 51 metre main boom topped by an 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. Both cranes will be used on building sites to erect concrete components or move steel constructions, as well as for halls and commercial constructions, and lifting machinery.

Markewitsch’s new Tadano cranes

Managing director Robert Markewitsch said: “With the two new ATF 100G-4s, we now have seven 100 tonne models from Tadano. This crane is extremely flexible, and I’m not just talking about the counterweight. The asymmetrical outrigger base allows us the maximum possible lifting capacities in each individual sector of the four outrigger beams, even over unfavourable terrain. We are also saving significant amounts of fuel while operating the crane. It is is more like several cranes within a crane, thanks to all the possible settings. It is also important that, with Tadano, we have a manufacturer with whom we can develop specialised equipment specifically for our cranes. That means optimum handling for our crane operators and, ultimately, generates more revenue for us too.”
