Rental rate survey

It is the time of year when we ask rental company readers for their views on rates and fleet development over the past 12 months and for their prognosis for 2020.

This is the 20th annual Cranes & Access UK/Ireland rental rates survey, which not only checks out average rental rates and trends, but also gauges optimism, pessimism and market expectations, while giving anyone involved in renting the or using the equipment to have their say on rental rate trends and developments - anonymously - or if you wish under your own name. Out of interest the 1999 edition said that rates were at their worst point since 2005 – and yet… some machines are going out at lower rates today!

We would very much appreciate your input and support, in completing and returning them to us. All input is totally confidential and will only take a few minutes to complete.

IF you want to add your company name you can do that or simply send the form back entirely anonymously. The data is not stored under a name, but simply added to the global survey database to calculate the average rates and utilisation for the industry as a whole. If you are still not comfortable in providing rates, then please simply answer as many non rate related questions as you are comfortable with.

The survey results do not reveal any company details

While this particular survey is for the UK and Ireland, we welcome input from other markets too. Don't feel obliged to answer every question though, complete as much as you can feel comfortable doing. There are NO MANDATORY fields in the survey.

If you have not already received a participation form or have mislaid it please let us know at [email protected] or [email protected].
