Contractor electrocuted

Bryan Dickinson the owner of a small contacting company, Bryan's Unlimited Enterprises, of Astbury Park New Jersey, was killed yesterday when eight metres off the ground in an aerial-lift.

He had been trimming a tree outside his former sister in laws house, when he apparently came into contact with overhead electric lines.

James Brooks, a friend, was helping Dickinson and noticed that he had slumped over in the basket he assumed that he had suffered a heart attack and called the emergency services.

The East Dover Fire Company used an extending a ladder so that Toms River police could perform CPR from inside the basket, but the father of three was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dickinson lived with his fiancée and three daughters, the youngest of which is only a year old.
