Manitou restarting production

Manitou has partially resumed production at its plants in France and Italy.

The company, like other manufacturers in Italy and France, will be limited in its production but allows the gradual re-establishment of the supply and production chain, in preparation for a full resumption, probably next month.

Chief executive Michel Denis said: "In the context of the health crisis, we have implemented very strict prevention and protection measures to ensure that our employees return to work in optimum safety conditions. All these measures have been disseminated internally and workers are given training as soon as they return on site."

The company adds that the measures will be adjusted according to the evolution of the Covid-19 crisis and the number of employees site.

Manitou's production facility in India remains closed.
