Fourth 3000t crawler to Russia

Russian construction contractor Titan-2 has taken delivery of the fourth 3,000 tonne Liebherr LR 13000 crawler crane from Liebherr Russland.

The crane features up to 120 metres of main boom and 126 metres of luffing jib to offer a maximum boom and jib combination/system length of 246 metres. The standard superstructure counterweight ranges from 400 to 750 tonnes, while a suspended superlift counterweight system of up to 1,500 tonnes is available with a 54 metre derrick boom. The company claims the LR 13000 is also the only crawler crane in its size class which can work without a suspended superlift counterweight.

Liebherr’s Willo Liebherr, Sophie Albrecht and Christoph Kleiner were all present at the handover of the LR 13000, which will be used in the construction of a nuclear power plant in Turkey over the next 10 years.
