Berry acquires more Bobcat dealers

Kansas based US equipment distribution group Berry Companies has acquired Bobcat of Atlanta and Bobcat of Huntsville.

Based in Georgia, Bobcat of Atlanta operates from locations in Atlanta, Marietta and Riverdale, while Alabama based Bobcat of Huntsville operates from its single Huntsville location. Both companies - which sell service and rent a full range of Bobcat products in their respective territories - will now join Berry Companies’ existing Bobcat dealer network which includes Bobcat of Houston, Bobcat of North Texas, K.C Bobcat and Bobcat of the Rockies.

Chief executive Walter Berry, said: “I am pleased to share that we have closed on the acquisition of Bobcat of Atlanta and Bobcat of Huntsville. We are blessed with some strong markets and fantastic people and we are excited for the opportunity to expand our footprint into the southeast.”

Bobcat of Atlanta and Bobcat of Huntsville will now join Berry Companies' existing dealer network


Steve Meadows, president of operations added: “There are great employees in Atlanta and Huntsville. We are looking forward to adding to what they already do well so that we can take even better care of our customers. We will do this by sharing best practices between our now eight divisions.”

Based in Wichita, Kansas, Berry Companies consists of eight distribution companies, offering Bobcat, Komatsu, Hyster and Yale products from 40 locations throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming and now Georgia.
