German rental company Beyer-Mietservice has started taking delivery of 40 Magni RTH 360 degree telehandlers
The order includes machines with lift heights from 17.5 to 30 metres, including several 29.9 metre/six tonne RTH 6.30 SH and 25.7 metre/seven tonne RTH 7.26 SH models. All units have been supplied with Stage V Deutz or Volvo engines, which the company claims makes it the first in Germany to offer Stage V compliant 360 degree telehandlers.
Features include on the SH models radio remote controls, 360 degree continuous slew and the company’s variable ‘scissor style’ outriggers. A number of 17.5 metre/four tonne RTH 4.18 Smart models have also been purchased which offer 400 degrees slew and feature simpler fold down outriggers.
The order includes a wide range of attachments including work platforms, buckets, winches and telescopic jibs which use the company’s RFID attachment recognition system to automatically identify and adjust the load chart depending on the attachment in use.
Established in 1994, Beyer runs a fleet of more than 5,000 aerial lifts, telehandlers, spider cranes, mini crawler cranes and forklifts from seven locations throughout Germany.
