Renault platform type approvals

UK aerial lift distributor and installer Cumberland Platforms (CPL) - part of France’s Klubb group - claims to be the only company in the UK to have achieved full European Type Approval on its Renault Master van mounted platforms.

The company is now able to offer full type approval on Klubb booms mounted on the 3.5 and 4.5 tonne Renault Masters chassis with the most common options being its 11.8 metre K26, 12.5 metre K32 and 13.7 metre K38. The approvals follow on from the company obtaining National Small Series Type approval for its platforms on the Isuzu and Hilux 4x4 pick up trucks (see: Cumerland 4x4 first.

CPL claims to be the only UK company to have full European Type Approval on Renault Master van mounted platforms

CPL managing director, Paul Murphy, said: “I am delighted that CPL is once again trailblazing and setting the pace in the UK van mount market as it did with the 4x4s. The news is a welcome note during what has been difficult times in which CPL remained safely open throughout.”
